Didactic Factory

AIMEN-DF has been created with the vocation of accompanying workers in the digital and sustainable transformation of the manufacturing activities by transferring the knowledge generated in research activities to promote their wider applicability and usability, developing training, upskilling and reskilling activities aimed at both engineers and operators. The objective is to train new workers and readapt the knowledge of those already experienced in highly digitalised manufacturing environments, but where the worker continues to play a decisive role, both in the operation of technologies and in decision-making as part of the Industry 5.0 approach. The opportunity to generate ‘hands on’ training experiences in a real-scale but controlled environment allows unique results to be achieved in terms of acceptance and adaptation to new manufacturing technologies.

The Didactic Factory also makes it possible to test the levels of interaction, adaptation and acceptance of new technologies by workers, serving as a living lab for the adjustment and retrofitting of new manufacturing technologies. The degree of acceptance and operational ease of new HMI systems, DSS, collaborative manufacturing infrastructures, etc., can be directly evaluated in a controlled environment that perfectly simulates Industry 5.0 factories.

In the following video, we show you an example of one of the training courses from our Didactic Factory:
